Make your day

Lately I’ve been liking the aloe propolis cream. I have dry skin with the occasional breakouts. And I’ve been looking for something that’s hydrating and smells nice.

I don’t know about you but I hate creams that smell like sunblock. But I was afraid of getting some rash. Crocodile skin is only pritty on a bag.

So I needed something natural and stumbled and found the answer…

The aloe propolis cream!

The good

It’s veery hydrating and is made form natural products. The day after I used if you could see the difference.  All those little zits where gone and it made my skin very soft.

The bad

It’s very thik cram so you can really notice you have something one.

Buy?

Anyone who has dry skin should try this cream. It’s really good for that. But I would recommend it for oily or combined skin.

I don’t have a nickname.

#2. What’s a weird habit of yours?

I like eating oats with a teaspoon  because I feel like it becomes more.

#3. Do you have any weird phobias?

I’m afraid of waking up with a rat in my bed. It’s never happened before but in our old house we once had a mouse. It was like one mouse but I’m  a confessed drama queen. When I was walking it crawled over my foot and from that day on  I always think it will wake up next to me.

#4. What’s a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you’re alone?

Drakes all me 😀 I know every word and it’s kind embarrassing because I just can’t rap.

#5. What’s one of your biggest pet peeves?

I hate it when people put there bails on paper. The feeling and everything is just awful.

A skinny latte because it makes me feel sophisticated

The shape rules. I know that over sized sweaters don’t look good on me but they feel amazing

To the shower itself. It makes me  feel like no one is hearing me sing.

#12. Do you have any ‘weird’ body ‘skills’?

I can swing my neck from left to right. People think it’s gross so it must be a skill 😉

#13. What’s your favorite comfort food thats ‘bad’ but you love to eat it anyways?

Ice cream, hagendazz the reality fatty caramel kind.

#14. What’s a phrase or exclamation you always say?

OMG. That’s amazing. I should stop saying that BTW

#15. Time to sleep, what are you actually wearing?

My bath robe. It’s so soft and warm so I just sleep in it.

Leave your odd habits in the comments so I feel less awkward 😉

vegetarian My story on why and how I am vegetarian

vegetarian the why and how

I’ve been vegetarian for a little more than a year now and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I like to think I’m healthy. My diet exists mostly out of vegetables and plant based foods. Most days I stick to the full vegetarian game but I do have that occasional peace of salmon. I do try to avoid dairy products more and more.

I’ve never really liked meat as a kid and going into my early teens I got more picky. God bless my mum for putting up with me. 😀
One day I discovered the documentary earthlings, I couldn’t watch it. I tried really hard but it was horrifying. And I became vegan because I was afraid of the meat and daily industry.

The first month I went vegan. I loved it. I felt amazing, I was trying so many recipes. (You should try the Jemie Oliver shepherd pie. It’s amazing)

I loved being vegan but then I started to realise that going to a store and finding the products I wanted was so hard I kind of gave up. Here in Belgium you can not just go vegan. It’s freaking expensive to get vegetables and in Europe it just isn’t a big thing. Going out to eat with family was one of the hardest things ever, if you say you are vegetarian in a Belgian restaurant they just give you salad and fries??? Perhaps I am going back to vegan. Just because I feel like it is the best for my body and a plant based diet is one of the best things you can do for your body and blood sugar.

Later on I started following cooking classes and being vegan got even harder. BTW they where mandatory, thank you high school…
And then I discovered sushi and Japanese cuisine. This made me fall in love with fish.

So that’s my story and how I changed over the past years. Tell me your story and how you feel about vegan/ vegetarian food.

Confidence: My opinion on being more confident

Girl walking down the street with confidence

Confidence is the key to success.

I’ve learned a lot about confidence over the past years.

Around the age of 13 I realised I am different then the others. So I started to look up people with the same condition as me. I wanted to know what type of makeup they used, how they got accepted…

Then I learned that I was pushing myself in a corner. It’s really good to find inspiration and look at people who are like you, but you are limiting yourself.  On the end of the day everything is possible. We shouldn’t look at what other people do, we have to look at what we can do.

I look at my strengths and develop them. Weaknesses can be overlooked if you have a lot of strengths.

You will be amazing if you believe in yourself.
